Doja Cat to Headline Move Afrika | MoveAfrika
The pan-African tour, called Move Afrika and presented by Global Citizen, aims to accelerate growth of the African creative economy and to create youth employment, starting with Move Afrika: Kigali at BK Arena on March 17 and the next event, Move Afrika: Pretoria at SunBet Arena on March 20.
Doja Cat, real name Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini, called it a “movement that extends far beyond simply delivering amazing live performances, instead focusing on delivering job creation and sustained economic opportunities and empowering African creativity.”
The organizers say this latest event follows Move Afrika’s earlier editions and that it hopes to foster strong local creative industries by focusing on job creation and skills development through producing world-class live shows.
