Arsenal Football Club, commonly known as “The Gunners,” is a professional football institution based in Islington, London. Founded in 1886 by munitions workers at the Royal Arsenal in Woolwich, the club was the first from the South of England to join the Football League. Arsenal is one of the most successful and storied clubs in English football history, carrying a legacy defined by class, tradition, and a commitment to attacking football encapsulated in the club’s motto, “Victoria Concordia Crescit” (Victory Through Harmony).

The club’s history is marked by periods of immense achievement, including the revolutionary era of Herbert Chapman in the 1930s and the legendary tenure of Arsène Wenger. Under Wenger, Arsenal famously completed the 2003–04 Premier League season undefeated, earning the moniker “The Invincibles.” With a trophy cabinet featuring numerous League titles and a record number of FA Cups, the club maintains a massive global following. Now playing at the state-of-the-art Emirates Stadium, Arsenal remains a cornerstone of the Premier League and a symbol of sporting excellence, continuing to develop world-class talent and compete at the highest levels of European football.
