Cybercrime: Nigeria Rescues 23 Youths Trafficked to Thailand

Nigeria’s National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) has rescued and repatriated 23 Nigerian youths who were trafficked to Thailand and other Southeast Asian countries and forced into cyber-enabled crimes, the agency said on Wednesday. Mnangagwa’s rule expected to be extended until 2030 as Zimbabwe cabinet approves plan

Zimbabwe’s cabinet has approved draft constitutional amendments that could allow President Emmerson Mnangagwa to remain in office until at least 2030, intensifying a bitter national debate over democracy and governance. The plan, endorsed at a meeting on Tuesday, proposes changing the Constitution to extend presidential and parliamentary terms from five years to seven years and to shift the method of choosing a president from direct popular vote to election by Members of Parliament.
