As the world is now millions of years old, we expect its leading creatures which are the humans, to be million times evolved with age, yes! They are. But, not all of them do want to evolve; some are still in the early and Middle Stone Age holding useless and hopeless cultures, beliefs and norms. I’ll explain there; do you believe we still have the gender stereotypes around? What about those believing in skin color stuff? What about those who are totally swayed by royal blood and nobility nonsense in the head? And these rather cult people who would kill in the name of their faith?
Do you know what’s funny? All that isn’t about today’s topic, but it was good having a glance on things that we find amusing at this age and time. I have something I find very amusing to be done today by someone or a group of humans who claim to be evolved. The thing is dictatorship, yes! Dictatorship. How can a person think of being Genghis Khan, Idd Amini Dada, Mao Zedong or King Leopold II at this democracy age? We have seen how scary those people were at their era, considering a man like Genghis Khan who killed people until the world depopulated, if he lived a thousand years with such sprit, the world could even go extinct for God’s sake! King Leopold II was the nightmares to the Congolese that they will never ever forget, even their great grand-children still have nightmares while they haven’t even seen him. What about Idd Amini Dada who summoned the cripples and old people in Uganda with the promise of good life changing opportunities instead he dumped them in the river full of crocodiles?
Believe or not, so much blood was shed in the names of revolutions, freedom and independence just to end dictatorship that was also appearing in so many forms including, reforms, monarchies, dictatorship, racism, masculinity, cult, religion and so on. We all know it would take forever for all these injustices to just go by completely but it breaks my heart that some people still worship and practice them so much that they no longer hide rather they have painted them in golden colors that match exactly like the modern era.
Most countries in Africa, Southern Asia and South America are the best to ‘Dictatorship still lives and it isn’t going anywhere!’ I had a close look at most of African countries governing systems gladly they almost all have the same ‘ruling’ system, yeah, I mean ruling, and not governing systems and trust me, some countries elections shook the world, no wander some African countries had leaders’ impeachments, revolts, mass killings and revolutions like we’re still living in 1800s. We all know governments should have pillars to keep the powers standard, let’s say a democratic country that stands on three pillars; Executive (president), Parliament and Judiciary, these pillars are expected to have a share on country’s powers that it won’t happen a power-hungry maniac would want it all by him/herself, we have seen the likes of Amini Dada of Uganda who overthrew Milton Obote. But what happens if an executive (president) who happens to be the head of military forces of the said country is the man who selects the heads of the other pillars of the said democratic country?
Not only in fantasy folk tales or those stories we learn at schools, but the reality is, some humans still want to be referred the same level as gods, and they believe that they are special in some ways, it is not so different to old school monarchies who believed that there’s something called royal bloods, commoners and slaves whose lives were never equal, some even went far stating that a king’s finger is worth a thousand commoners, I can’t imagine how many slaves would be counted on it. Some leaders we entrust our countries’ flags are already rotting their brains and can not distinguish between democratic leading and indirect ruling. They sweat a lot when asking for a chance to sit on the highest chair of the country but whenever they get the chance and find out how the countries’ rules are, they forget about the purpose of such chair and find all the ways possible ways for only death to do them apart from the chair, it’s so sad that even good people turned into monsters after tasting such powers, its more like saying you go to sleep with no money but wake up with powers to be invisible, will you die poor again with such powers in your hands? Maybe.
Now, getting into our ‘Dictatocracy’ thing, here I specifically targeted those people sneaked into our beautiful era, got the privileges to lead a certain group of people, let’s say a country to bring back their dark era on everybody’s necks and think they rather were handed powers to rule. Many of them won’t use direct force as before though we have seen or heard some savage leaders in Iraq, Iran and North Korea to name a few still use the ‘direct ruling’ but they do have some stops sometimes because the world lives as one with so many organizations to end such misery, wow! See how we have come so far. How abut these people who still rule but feed in their peoples’ sympathy, agony and illiteracy to keep their powers intact and their sins unpunished? In the country we grew up, most of us were raised to hate a lot of things about America and Europe, especially the idea of reforms, changes and etc., I still believe some of them but, I’ll be honest here, I recently became a big fan of The United States of American system of meddling in some countries’ affairs, because I deeply read about the WWII, Saddam Hussein and the current Nicholas Maduro incident, I was greatly impressed and the world knows how America is the leading example when democracy is concerned that’s why almost everybody out there wants to be a part of their evolved society, if we ever found another 4 USAs and they were not busy fighting, just making the world the better place and not abusing the blessings they were given, we would not see the world of Dictatocracy, ever.
