A 30-year-old woman has been taken into custody after firing multiple rounds of shots at pop music superstar Rihanna’s Beverly Hills mansion while she was supposedly in her home.
Police responded to reports of shots fired at Rihanna’s home in Beverly Hills on Sunday afternoon, the LAPD confirmed.
Police revealed that the suspect, believed to be 30 years old, fired numerous shots from her moving car into the residence before fleeing the scene.
The suspect fired about 10 shots from a white Tesla, parked across the street from Rihanna’s front gate, during the shooting incident that hit at least one wall of the home on the outside, police radio dispatch reported.
Officers who responded and began a search later tracked the car to a parking area in Sherman Oaks approximately 30 minutes later and arrested the female at that time without further issue.
There were no victims in the shooting that occurred, and police say Rihanna was indeed inside the house when the shooting incident took place.
Detectives say the suspect discharged 7 to 9 shots, a number of which hit the outsides of the residence, and they have yet to determine the motivation for the incident.
Rihanna and her partner, rapper A$AP Rocky, share the mansion home along with their three young children.
The woman has yet to be named by police officials and the case is under active investigation.
